The pool quickly filled with kids- funny how they gravitate like that
The adults stayed at the deep end- trying to chat amid the chaotic screams of joy
They chatted and drank
And as the sun went down, the lights went on.... and the little kids (and then the big kids) moved inside for a movie
It was an awesome time. 
The fire continued to grow (that pit is at least 6ft diameter and 2ft deep)
It was also Liberty's birthday, so a cake was in order
The fire was massive. Here it's at least 2' above the ground and HOT HOT HOT. We brought stuff for smores, but the marshmallows had to be roasted over the grill.
Here's Buck singing with the kids. He made a up a song- something about believing in yourself.... they are ALL singing with him.... there's a short video of them singing below. It's hard to make it all out, but I still had to include it.
We decided to host a party at the land for July 4. We shlepped the grill out there, some tables and chairs, and set to having a party!
It was really fun. GB and some of the kids went down to the river early in the day to catch prawns to grill.
We cooked a delicious meal, built a huge bonfire, set off some fireworks, and had a great time.
The kids were awesome- they played and ran around and all got along great.
